Sienna Miller on Breastfeeding in Public: “If You Need to Feed Your Baby, Feed Your Baby”

Sienna Miller says she’ll breastfeed her baby at dinner if they’re hungry, and anyone bothered by it has “a you issue.” In a Fashion Flashback interview, a clip of which Harper’s Bazaar posted on social media on Oct. 9, 2026, the actress said she’s still breastfeeding and described how feeding her child has changed the way she sees her body.

“Your respect for your body, in my case, became enormous,” Miller said. “If you need to feed your baby, feed your baby. And everybody else has to grow a pair and deal with it. It’s a breast.”

She’s brought feeding into her working life, too. Miller shared a video in May 2026 showing herself in the makeup chair, breastfeeding her newborn before The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

In an August 2024 interview, she explained why she breastfeeds during hair and makeup: “Everyone will help, but they don’t have tits.”

That appreciation for her body goes back to motherhood with her eldest daughter, Marlowe. After Marlowe’s 2012 birth, Miller spoke in a January 2013 cover interview about understanding what her breasts were for and respecting what her body could do.

In the Fashion Flashback interview, she described herself as “Bohemian” and said she’s comfortable feeding wherever her baby needs her: “If the baby’s hungry and I’m at dinner, yes, I’m gonna whip my boob out and feed the baby.”
