Noah Centineo on the Street Fighter Movie: “The Movie Has Insane Fights, and Every Character Is Brutal”

Street Fighter’s signature moves are coming to the new live-action movie, and Noah Centineo says stunt coordinator John Valera researched each character’s fighting style for their on-screen matchups. Centineo, 30, who plays Ken Masters in the adaptation, spoke to GamesRadar+ in an interview published October 11, 2026.

“Meticulous attention was paid to detail, and I think it’s really a triumph. The movie has insane fights, and every character is brutal,” Centineo told GamesRadar+.

He described the challenge of adapting a game franchise with almost 150 characters whose backgrounds and fighting styles vary. Valera’s work meant studying the characters involved in each fight so their individual styles would carry through to the choreography.

Kitao Sakurai directs the upcoming Paramount film. Its fighters include Andrew Koji as Ryu, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Roman Reigns as Akuma and Cody Rhodes as Guile, alongside David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog and Jason Momoa as Blanka.

Dastmalchian also singled out the 2 WWE stars’ performances in an interview with Soundsphere magazine published April 1, 2026: “You can definitely tell everybody that I said that Cody Rhodes’ performance as Guile is going to be one of the highlights of Street Fighter.”

“And when everyone sees what Roman Reigns did as well, they’re going to freak out. It’s a great film. It’s really exciting.”
