Law Roach says Zendaya is taking time to rest between a packed year of film promotion and preparations for the Dune: Part Three press tour. “Y’all, give my sister a break. Let her rest. Let her live for a second,” her longtime stylist said on October 18.

Speaking at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Roach described the 30-year-old actress’s schedule: “She’s had a lot this year.” Her commitments have included promoting The Odyssey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Drama, alongside getting married to Tom Holland.

“She is preparing for the Dune 3 press tour, so am I. So, she’s resting,” Roach said.

The break also extends to social media. In September, her mother, Claire Stoermer, mentioned Zendaya’s absence from the apps in a post celebrating her 30th birthday. Zendaya did return for the occasion, sharing a childhood photo and thanking people for making the last year of her 20s beautiful.

She’s spoken before about why she steps away. In October 2021, Zendaya explained that spending time on social media could make her anxious and lead her to overthink. She said her fans wanted her to be happy and have a life beyond the apps.

Describing the pressure to keep posting, Zendaya said: “But I get too overwhelmed with having to post things, and if I think too much about it, I’m not gonna do it. It’s not worth it.”
