Opening her Eternal Sunshine dates at London’s O2 on August 15, 2026, Ariana Grande revealed new collarbone script for the first time. The words read as “I do love you,” though some accounts hedged that the tattoo “appears to read” that line.
Ricky Alvarez already had those same words. A selfie showing them dates to July 17, 2025, about 13 months before hers was noticed. So his came first, and they didn’t get inked together.

They’re also not identical. Hers is simple handwritten script and his is a chunkier font. Handwritten in blue ink, “I do love you” appeared in her August 12 Instagram carousel, which tagged him.
A post that went around October 22 swapped that line to “I truly love you” and said the two now have matching ink. The words aren’t quite that, and the timing isn’t quite that either.
This is current. Grande and Alvarez, who dated years ago, reunited in 2026 after her split from Ethan Slater, and they were filmed kissing in a Universal Studios Hollywood VIP section on September 24.
Neither has spoken publicly about the tattoos or the relationship.
