Andy Cohen faced boos at Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston, South Carolina, on October 23 when he discussed Amanda Batula’s future on Bravo. Asked whether she and West Wilson could return to Summer House, he told the crowd, “I certainly could see [Amanda] being on In the City.”
“You don’t need to boo me,” Cohen, 58, said during the panel. He also borrowed NeNe Leakes’ line, calling the audience “so nasty and so rude.”
Cohen said he’d heard from West 2 days earlier, when West was with Amanda and introducing her to St. Louis-style pizza.
Cohen doesn’t produce Summer House or In the City, and his suggestion came without a casting announcement. Bravo renewed In the City for season 2 that day, but Amanda reportedly hasn’t filmed for it and isn’t expected to return full-time. West reportedly hasn’t filmed for the spinoff’s second season either.
Their future on Summer House had already narrowed. In June, sources said Amanda, 35, hadn’t been invited back for season 11 because her relationships with the cast had deteriorated. A source also said West, 31, wouldn’t be a cast member that season, while leaving open the possibility of a future appearance on either show.
Amanda and West confirmed their relationship on March 31 after previously denying a romantic connection. Amanda had recently separated from her husband and costar Kyle Cooke, 44. West had dated her close friend and fellow cast member Ciara Miller, 30.
In their joint statement, Amanda and West said their relationship developed from a longstanding friendship and acknowledged its effect on others: “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
Kyle, Ciara and other cast members questioned them about their hookup timeline at the season 10 reunion. Season 11 subsequently filmed in the Hamptons over the summer without either returning as a cast member.
Amanda appeared in In the City’s first season, which was filmed in fall 2025; Bravo hasn’t announced her status for season 2.
