Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly walked out of a Los Angeles studio side by side on October 23, then climbed into a red sports car together, with Kelly holding the door for her before they drove off.
The sighting lands on top of the most intimate claim yet about the two of them. A source told the Daily Mail, in a report dated October 17, that Johnson has told friends they have “great sexual chemistry and it’s the best sex she has ever had,” calling it “fireworks.” The same source said Johnson has framed the connection in astrological terms, noting she’s a Libra and he’s a Taurus, both “ruled by Venus.”
Those are secondhand, anonymous lines, and neither has confirmed a relationship. Johnson, 37, and Kelly, 36, whose real name is Colson Baker, have been linked since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden, where sources say they first hit it off.
The studio exit follows a run of public sightings. On September 22, Johnson sat front row at Vogue World in Milan as Kelly walked the runway in a neon orange jumpsuit. Earlier in October, the two were spotted at Say Yes, a Hollywood speakeasy, and leaving another LA studio session, with Kelly’s Maserati reportedly still parked at her house the next morning.
Kelly split from Megan Fox in December 2024; they share a daughter, Saga Blade, born in March 2025. Johnson’s last two relationships, with Coldplay’s Chris Martin and musician Role Model, both ended in the past year and a half.
On Saturday Night Live earlier this month she joked about her romantic history: “I went through two very public, very lame breakups with two very awesome musicians,” adding that she was “looking for a third.”
