Kendra Wilkinson was posting about her kids’ sports when a man told her she needed a makeover. The 41-year-old former Playboy star responded on Instagram Stories on October 20, saying she’s happy with her appearance and ready to lose male followers who expect her to stay sexy.
“It’s so weird the fact people think I owe them that,” she wrote. “I’m happy and free.”
Wilkinson said she’s been wanting to lose certain men as viewers, even if looking older is what makes them leave. Her message to them: “I have nothing for you guys. Time to go.” She also thanked the men who treat her respectfully.
The former Girls Next Door star had addressed those expectations in August, writing, “Sexy is the last thing I want to be.” She said her priorities were health, happiness, success, faith and peace.
Wilkinson shares son Hank, 16, and daughter Alijah, 12, with her ex-husband, former NFL player Hank Baskett, 44. She’s spoken about the difficulty of figuring out her life under public scrutiny, while making clear that she’s at peace with her body and getting older.
“I am happy being me and alive and watching my kids grow,” she wrote in August.
“I’m ok not being Playboy skinny anymore or bleached blonde 21 yr old. That was a time of my life but now I’m older and have lived a life.”
