Khloé Kardashian on Having a Baby with a Future Husband: “I Don’t Want to Cause a Lot of Disruption Within My Household Because I Love the Way It Is”

Khloé Kardashian wants to protect the family she’s already raising if she marries again. On the October 15 episode of The Kardashians, she told Kris Jenner she’s concerned that having a baby with a future husband could leave her 2 children with Tristan Thompson feeling less important.

“I don’t want to cause a lot of disruption within my household because I love the way it is,” she said.

Khloé, 42, described how difficult relationships have shaped what she wants next: “In my dating life, I’ve been through a lot of situations that have caused me trauma. I’m not gonna ‘woe is me’ about the trauma. I think what is ideal is to be with someone else and not necessarily have kids with that person.”

She and Thompson, 35, were together on and off from 2016 to 2021. Their relationship ended after his multiple cheating scandals. She still has an embryo they created together and said he signed over her right to use it after their breakup.

“They’re my embryos. When we broke up, I had him sign that I could have it. And it’s legally done. So it’s my embryo,” she said.

That leaves open the possibility of another child, though she’s undecided about whether she has the energy to raise another baby. She said she’d love another daughter and values the bond between sisters, but getting older also factors into her decision.

Her boundaries with Thompson have remained part of their parenting arrangement. In June 2023, she said she’d put their past aside for their children and preferred having him care for them over a nanny when she wasn’t home. She also made clear they weren’t spending time alone together.

“I don’t need to punish him because I am not getting back together with him,” she said then.
