Paris Hilton called ADHD her “superpower” in a People magazine interview published on October 16, 2026, saying the condition has caused difficulties throughout her life but also credits it with helping her imagine and create. The 45-year-old TV star and musician began taking medication for the condition as a child.

“My mind is constantly racing. But I see it as a superpower because it’s fuelled so much of my creativity, my imagination, my ability to think outside the box,” Hilton said.

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that can affect self-regulation and executive functioning. Hilton encouraged people who’ve recently been diagnosed to see possibilities beyond the diagnosis.
“With the right tools and support, their differences can really become some of their greatest strengths,” she said.
