A reported 80,210 people attended Ye’s Halloween concert in Houston, where the stadium confirmed he’d set a U.S. stadium rap attendance record. The October 31 show took place at Reliant Stadium, also known as NRG Stadium.

During “Ghost Town,” Ye told the crowd, “We just broke the record.” He thanked Houston as he acknowledged the milestone.

The exact attendance figure circulated through social accounts and hasn’t yet received an independent Billboard Boxscore audit. If finalized at 80,210, it would also surpass the stadium’s previous overall attendance record: 80,203 for Cody Johnson at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on March 22, 2026.

The record is specific to U.S. stadium rap concerts; his reported 118,000-person Istanbul show earlier in 2026 drew a larger audience.

For much of the roughly 2-hour, 25-minute Houston performance, Ye was tethered atop a giant Earth-shaped stage, with lasers, pyrotechnics and projections around him. The set mixed songs from Bully, including “King” and “Father,” with catalog tracks such as “Jesus Walks,” “Through the Wire,” “Gold Digger” and “Stronger.”
Playboi Carti joined him for songs including “Carnival” and “Off the Grid.” Ye’s daughter North West performed “Talking,” a remix of “Legacy” and an unreleased song, then hugged her father on the sphere before leaving. Drake and Travis Scott were among those attending, and Ye gave Houston collaborator Mike Dean a shout-out.
The turnout followed months of controversy over Ye’s antisemitic remarks and Nazi imagery. European dates were canceled amid the backlash. In January, he published a full-page apology disavowing his earlier statements and attributing his behavior to bipolar disorder.
Ahead of the Houston concert, the venue warned against “outward expressions of hate,” including symbols on clothing, tattoos and signs. The Holocaust Museum Houston offered free admission that weekend.
Ye closed the show with “Runaway,” playing a small keyboard under a spotlight. His next scheduled U.S. stops are AT&T Stadium in Dallas on November 7 and State Farm Stadium in Phoenix on November 21.
