Alabama Barker says concern for her brother Landon’s safety led her to tell their dad, Travis Barker, something she’d learned about him. By the time she discussed it with stepmom Kourtney Kardashian on the October 22 episode of The Kardashians, the siblings’ silence was approaching 4 weeks.
Kourtney, 47, brought up a visit to Landon’s new home. Alabama, 20, said she hadn’t visited, prompting Kourtney to ask whether she and Landon, 23, were “still not communicating.”
“We just had a disagreement. And I found something out, and I told my father. And [Landon] didn’t like that,” Alabama explained. She didn’t disclose what she’d learned.
Alabama defended her decision: “It wasn’t that I was tattletaling. It was for his own good.” When Kourtney described it as a concern about Landon’s safety, Alabama agreed, adding, “Yeah, because I love him.”
“As a sibling who cares,” Kourtney told her, “it’s always OK to tattletale if needed.”
Alabama said their silence extended to everyday encounters at home: “Even in the kitchen, he’ll be making food, and I’ll just walk out.”
