Constance Wu confirmed she’s read the script for the Crazy Rich Asians sequel, and she’s not keeping her enthusiasm quiet. “It’s very funny. We’re all excited to be coming back,” she said while on NBC’s Today on October 23 to promote Season 2 of The Terminal List.

HBO’s eight-episode drama picks up nearly a decade after the 2018 film, following Rachel and Nick. Wu returns as Rachel Chu alongside Henry Golding and Ronny Chieng as series regulars, with Michelle Yeoh recurring and Adele Lim running the show. Filming is planned for New York in 2027.
“I love it, it’s very funny. We’re in great hands,” Wu added of the script.

She had plenty to talk about either way. The Terminal List Season 2 hit Prime Video on October 21, with Wu back as investigative journalist Katie Buranek opposite Chris Pratt’s James Reece.
The season adapts Jack Carr’s True Believer and goes global, sending Reece to work with the CIA against a resurgent terrorist group across Mozambique, Northern Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
Wu said she trained with a former Navy SEAL for the action and gun work, and called it the safest TV set she’s been on, pointing to the 17 veterans working in front of and behind the camera. She also got a surprise video message from co-stars Pratt and Tom Hopper during the segment.
