Christopher Lloyd’s Wife Hikes Every Morning with His Fourth Wife, and He Has One Line About It

Christopher Lloyd’s wife, real estate agent Lisa Loiacono, hikes every morning with his fourth wife, Jane Walker Wood. His reaction to that: “Funny how life turns out.”

Lloyd and Loiacono married in 2016, after she once sold his Montecito, California, home. He called her “my best fan” in a 2021 interview and spoke plainly about his 5th marriage: “Five is the last.” Loiacono shot back immediately: “No 5 is sitting right here!”

On how lockdown deepened their bond, Lloyd said: “We have dinners at home; Lisa prepares wonderful food. I think we got to know each other more, and better.”

Lloyd turned 88 this week, and he had some things to get off his chest: “Today I turn 88…I’ve seen some serious shit. The most serious of it all is love. I love my family, my friends, and my wonderful fans. The power of love remains.”

The message is a knowing nod to Doc Brown’s famous line from Back to the Future: “When this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you’re gonna see some serious shit.” His sign-off also calls back to “The Power of Love,” the Huey Lewis and the News song featured in the film.

Michael J. Fox made the same birthday connection back in March, posting a dinner photo alongside Lloyd. He wrote, “Dining with my bestie,” then teased, “Chris will be [88]. That’s some serious s—.” Lloyd fired back with: “Man, that’s heavy.”

His memoir, In My Own Time, arrives October 27 from Grand Central. Among its revelations: “To this day I feel like I never really learned how to talk.”
