Elizabeth Hurley says life with Billy Ray Cyrus is easier than her years with Shane Warne because all 7 of their children are grown. “It’s more grown up and it’s easier,” she said of the relationship.

Hurley, 61, discussed the relationship on the Off Air with Jane and Fi podcast. She and the singer have been dating since 2025, and their lives together involve fewer parenting logistics than she faced with her late former partner, cricketer Shane Warne.

Warne had 3 children close to Damian’s age or a few years older. Back then, the couple had to fit their relationship around school schedules and holidays.

Her son Damian, 24, is the youngest of the blended family’s seven children, so there are no school runs now.

Cyrus has 6 children: Brandi, 39, Trace, 37, Miley, 33, Braison, 32, and Noah, 26, with his ex-wife Tish Cyrus, 59, and Christopher, 34, with Kristin Luckey.
Hurley still feels the change in her role as a parent. “Sometimes I miss being a hands-on mummy,” she said. She’s happy to leave school runs and frantic searches for a tennis racket behind, but misses how much Damian once needed her.
“But you do sort of miss, I suppose, being so hands-on. It’s an adjustment to have to make.”
