Kourtney Kardashian says she stopped hooking up with “randoms” after Kanye West told her he felt God wanted him to pass along that advice. She recalled the conversation on the October 22 episode of The Kardashians, explaining that she followed it before her romance with Travis Barker.
“I remember Kanye told me, ‘I feel like God is calling me to tell you that you should not hook up with any randoms until you are with your husband,’” Kourtney said. “And I didn’t.” West was her brother-in-law during his marriage to Kim Kardashian from 2014 to 2021.
The memory came up as Kourtney, 47, visited her stepson Landon Barker’s new home. Hearing Landon and his roommate discuss their party plans, she offered a somewhat sarcastic suggestion to “wait for marriage” before getting intimate with someone.
Kourtney and Travis, 50, had been friends for years before they began dating in 2021. They got engaged later that year and married in 2022, celebrating with an unlicensed Las Vegas ceremony, a legal wedding in Santa Barbara and a wedding in Italy. Their son, Rocky Thirteen, was born in November 2023.
