Survivor 51’s first 6 Tribal Council eliminations were all women, a record across the show’s 26-year history. Host Jeff Probst says each vote came down to the relationships within that tribe and the threats individual players posed.

Aaliyah Puglia, Ana Sani, Patt Cannaday, Jenna Doore, Alexis Levine, and Linnea Capobianco were voted out. Rob Antonson, the only man to leave the game during that stretch, quit.

Probst’s explanation centers on how shifting relationships at camp shape individual decisions. He attributes the streak to those local dynamics rather than a shared strategy to eliminate women.

Levine has also pointed to strategic ability and perceived threat levels as reasons women were targeted early. The streak surpassed Survivor: Fiji, where women accounted for the first 5 players voted out.
