Olympic champion Alysa Liu laughed as MrBeast’s crew wobbled across the ice, while her side of their skating challenge called for a limbo, a jump for a bag and 100 rotations.

In “Beat LeBron, Win $100,000,” released Oct. 31, MrBeast and his crew took on star athletes in modified versions of their sports, putting charity money on the line. Liu had to finish her tasks before the crew collected 4 bags.

“Alysa, are you terrified?” she was asked. “Yeahhh, for you guys… a little bit!” she replied.
The crew beat her, but MrBeast still gave $50,000 for her chosen charity, explaining that “we made things incredibly hard on her.” Liu chose UN Women: “I am super proud to be partnering with the UN women because sport belongs to ALL of us.”
Liu’s return to skating followed a complete break after the Beijing Olympics, when she quit at 16. “I left the sport completely. Like I wouldn’t step in the rink. Honestly, I was low-key traumatized,” she said of that period.
Her approach to coming back: “I’m really just doing this for fun.”
